In 2018, Wai Technologies' team was buzzing with excitement as they began an ambitious software project. The team of developers, designers, and engineers committed to creating a groundbreaking application. After months of design iterations, intense coding, and thorough testing, their promise stood strong.

As the project deadline approached, significant issues surfaced. There was a clear disconnect between the design and development stages, with many designed elements not making it into the development phase.

This mismatch led to frequent internal escalations, and disagreements among developers became commonplace. The discord between designers and developers further exacerbated the situation.

The Problem

The growing panic within the team started to impact our delivery timelines. Ultimately, the client decided to terminate the contract. As a result, Wai lost both the customer, its reputation and off course revenue!

The Aftermath

The termination of the contract not only impacted our revenue but also dealt a significant blow to our reputation within the industry.

The internal discord highlighted severe flaws in our project management and communication processes.

In the wake of this setback, the team underwent a thorough review to identify and address the root causes of the issues.
